Natural Hair UpDo

After several days of wearing a twist out I decided to take a stab at creating an updo. I received some inspiration from Uptown Curl, an event I attended a few weeks ago, and thought I would give it a try.

I began by pinning up the sides of my hair in the same fashion I did when creating a frohawk. I then applied water and Ohm Aloe Hair Gel to the back of my hair and pinned it up as well.

For the front of my hair I brought a section of my curls to one side and then pinned that section in place.

I was extremely pleased with the outcome. If you are looking for a simple updo give this hairstyle a try!
