In all honestly, my “secret” obsession with vintage earrings is “not so secret”. If you know me or have seen me out & about chances are you caught me wearing a pair of my coveted earrings.
If you have never met me but are a regular reader you have most likely guessed my obsession; the number of thrifting posts on this blog containing earrings of the past are many.
It’s not just the unbelievably low price of vintage earrings that draws me to them; it’s the uniqueness of each piece. The color, shape, size, material; there’s just something about these accessories that puts a sparkle in my eyes.
Whenever I go shopping, at thrift stores, flea markets, or even my mother’s closet, I head straight for the jewelry. My obsession has become so intense that I now find myself creating outfits, not from pieces of clothing, but from the earrings I want to wear for the day.
If you haven’t already, take a look at a pair of vintage earrings. Try them on. Actually, try several pair on! But, be careful, they are addictive.
