While strolling the streets of Soho with Danielle she and I stopped at Make Up For Ever. I have heard mention & rave reviews of this make up line, but had never used their products.

As I browsed the beautiful colors & shades, which were plentiful, in the store a particular lipstick caught me eye. The bright pop of the fuschia hue was literally calling my name.

I applied Rouge Artist Intense, with the sample applicator, and instantly got great feedback. One of Make Up For Ever’s artists came to me and said, “that looks great but, you need a liner.”

I am not one to wear lip liner. Actually the word gives me crazy flash backs to the 90′s black lip liner craze; so wrong. But, to my surprise, Aqua, the waterproof liner he used, looked wonderful. As he said, it added more definition to my lips and gave the lipstick a cleaner look.

Now, when I say waterproof lip liner I do mean waterproof in every sense of the word. My liner & lipstick lasted through hours of shopping, a delicious meal at Cafeteria and a subway ride to Brooklyn.

Below are a few photos of how I apply Aqua and Rouge Artist Intense and a few Make Up For Ever lip color options

What do you think about Aqua & Rouge Artist Intense?

You wouldn’t think liner would make that big of a difference, but it really does. The color looks great on you.
