Over 20+ of Atlanta’s hottest beauty, fashion & hair bloggers made their way to this style focused event.
After starting the evening off with introductions, Lexi & Danielle shared with us some of their favorite products straight from TJ Maxx’s racks.
Danielle focused on the stores Runway section, which has current (in season) designer looks for fractions of the original cost. She showed us a dress she had recently purchased at Bloomingdale’s, for well over $100, that was $59.99 at TJ Maxx.
Lexi chatted with the crowd about the store’s beauty selection. She showed us several products, shampoos, conditioners & appliances, commonly sold in beauty stores. The pricing was less than what I thought and, for some products, the packaging was much larger.
After attendees got the inside scoop from the ladies about all that TJ Maxx had to offer we got a chance to put our knowledge to the test. We were asked to guess the price of different items. Those who guessed correctly actually won the item. And, In true competitive fashion (pun intended), there was an outfit challenge.
Attendees were asked to build the cutest and cheapest outfit, ( top, bottom, & shoes) we could find in 12 minutes. Yes, an entire outfit in only 12 minutes.
Once Danielle said “go” ladies shot off in all directions. I and a few other bloggers headed straight for the shoe section while others, taking a more strategic approach, headed toward clearance.
The winner of each contest, which wasn‘t me, I guessed wrong & my outfit was a bit pricy, won a $25 TJ Maxx/Marshalls gift card.
Actually to everyone’s surprise, after all was said & done, we ALL received $25 gift cards!
I had such a great time meeting, chatting & shopping everyone. I had fun, but most importantly, although I can pull together a “look for less” like nobody’s business, I learned I really need to brush up on my “quick” shopping skills!

Stay tuned to check out what I bought from my “Pre-Shopping List!”
