A few weeks ago I attended a wonderful Saturday brunch hosted by Eden Body Works. (check that out here) The brunch introduced the natural hair care line’s newest edition Jojoba Moni.
The Jojoba Moni collection consists of five all natural products free of sulfates & parabeans: All Natural Shampoo, All Natural Conditioner, All Natural Deep Conditioner, All Natural Hair Milk, & All Natural Hair Oil.
As you probably guessed, all of these products contain jojoba oil, a oil that closely mimics the oil that is naturally produced from the scalp, and monoi.
On a recent wash-day I gave Jojoba Moni a try. To cleanse my hair, I started off with the All Natural Shampoo. Although it’s sulfate free this shampoo has a great lather and cleanses quite well.
After rising my hair felt clean and slightly moisturized. I say slightly because a shampoo that is moisturizing, for my hair texture, usually clumps my curls. This shampoo left my hair feeling soft, however my strands remained in a frizzy state after rinsing.
As my next step I applied the All Natural Conditioner and allowed it to sit on my hair, as directed by the instructions. After about five minutes I rinsed the conditioner out of my mane with cool water. As with the shampoo, my hair felt moisturized after using the conditioner; but not to it’s fullest potential.
I pulled out my hooded hair dryer to get ready for my deep conditioning session with Eden’s All Natural Deep Conditioner. This product is extremely thick, which I love, and has a very faint clean scent. Actually, all of the products share the same light smell.
I applied a generous amount of the Deep Conditioner to my hair and sat under the hooded dryer, with a plastic cap, for around 45 minutes.
After allowing my hair to cool down, I rinsed out the Deep Conditioner and was extremely pleased with my results. My hair was shiny, soft, slightly detangled, and my curls were clumped; all signs that Eden’s Deep Conditioner works well with my hair.
Have you ever tried any of Eden Body Works products? If so, how did you like them?
Eden Body Works is sold at Sally Beauty Supply and select Wal-Mart’s throughout the U.S.

I just saw this in Wal-Mart the other day and was going to Google it. Thanks for the review.
