Rizzoli & Isles On TNT- I’m Watching!

Admittedly, I’m not an avid watcher of crime dramas. I’m a huge scary cat and, for odd some reason, think the characters in those believable episodes live next door to me.

To ensure that I get my rest at night, and not watch the door or jump when I hear the faintest sound, I limit my indulgences of crime based TV shows.

It wasn’t until I watched the past season finale of Rizzoli & Isles, a TNT television series starring Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander, that I realized my inner “scary cat” is controllable & crime dramas can be pretty entertaining.

The witty banter between main characters Jane Rizzol and Maura Isles was comical and the plot line of the episode kept me glued to my laptop screen.

On a completely different and possibly weird note, I absolutely love the voice of actress Angie Harmon (Jane Rizzoli). It’s raspy yet sultry and literally made me listen to every word she said.

After it was all said and done, season finale complete and laptop closed, I found myself wondering what would happen on the new season and not if my neighbor was an arson secretly out to get me. :)

Check out a rewind of the previous Rizzoli & Isles season below. You can catch all new episodes Tuesdays 9/8c on TNT.

Are you a fan of TNT’s Rizzoli & Isles? What do you love about the show?

“Based on characters created by best-selling crime novelist Tess Gerritsen, RIZZOLI & ISLES stars Angie Harmon as Jane Rizzoli, a tough-as-nails Boston police detective, and Sasha Alexander as Maura Isles, a smart, impeccably dressed medical examiner from a privileged background. Despite being complete opposites, the two women share an offbeat chemistry and strong working relationship that has helped them bust some of Boston’s most notorious criminals.”

Rizzoli & Isles would be a better show if they would lighten up on the humor. For one, they aren’t funny AT ALL and two the show is suppose to be a drama! Take some notes on the show The Closer, a drama very light with the comedy. And because they aren’t going over board trying to be funny it works and they are funny!
