Cantu Shea Butter Oil Sheen

Oil Sheen? What Am I Supposed to Do With This?

During my relaxed days oil sheen was a huge staple in my hair care arsenal. A day wouldn’t go by without me creating a cloud of shine, before I walked out of the door, around my head.

Now that I have natural hair, the one can of oil sheen I have has been placed in deep dark part of my hair cabinet, never to be seen or used again.

At this point I’m a little perplexed by what I should do with it? :)

Robin Groover, owner of Too Groovy Salon, shares great insight on how to keep your hair’s moisture in tip top shape:

We have all, at some time or another, encountered a bit of hair shedding trouble.

It seems, at least for me, that my natural hair shedding, with all the curls and coils, is much more noticeable.

Ask Adrienne: “I’m Transitioning; What Products Should I Use?”

Me, My Hair & the City Reader: I had the pleasure of meeting you when you came to Spelman. I was wondering if you had any tips for me since I am transitioning. My biggest struggle is finding a product or regimen that keeps my hair moisturized and less frizzy.

Soon I plan on cutting the rest of my relaxer off, so if you have any products or tips that could assist me with maintaining natural hair it would be greatly appreciated.
